Ayah app logo

Ayah آية

Active / Testing

Hear a Quran recitation and find your place. Ayah identifies the corresponding Quranic verse so you can follow along.

The Android application uses Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, with Arabic speech recognition and local matching against the complete Quran text. It supports Arabic and English, including right to left display.

No account is required. Quran text is available offline; speech recognition depends on the device’s recognition service and language packs.

Google Play release pending.

Pixel Quickdraw

In development

A fast, stylish Wild West reaction duel. Draw only when BANG hits.

Ready. Steady. BANG.

Pixel Quickdraw is a real time, multiplayer cowboy reaction game built for quick, competitive duels. Players wait through a suspenseful READY → STEADY → BANG sequence, then race to fire first without shooting too early.

Best of three scoring and false start penalties keep each duel competitive.

Two ways to duel.

I built both online and same laptop modes. Online games use private room codes and Socket.IO for real time synchronization, with reconnect handling.

Local mode lets two people share one keyboard: Player 1 shoots with A and Player 2 shoots with P.

Characters / Animation / Sound

Character selection, sprite based cowboy animations, sound effects, background music, character voice clips and adjustable audio settings.
